MediCab — the Moroccan medical practice, from booking to insurance claim

A Moroccan medical practice loses considerable time on everything that is not care. The phone rings mid-consultation to book an appointment. Notes are written up in the evening, from memory. Prescriptions are copied by hand, with no safety net against drug interactions. And the insurance claim form required for reimbursement is filled in from a card deciphered by eye, digit by digit.

A single platform where each practice is isolated, with its own online booking mini-site and, if wanted, its own domain name. The practitioner dictates the consultation: Whisper handles transcription, then the raw text is automatically structured into reason, examination, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up — they review and correct instead of typing everything. When writing a prescription, the assistant suggests medication matching the diagnosis and flags interactions and contraindications before validation. The patient insurance card is photographed and read by vision recognition, pre-filling the CNSS, CNOPS or private claim form. Add video teleconsultation, a waiting room, automatic SMS and WhatsApp reminders, a WhatsApp agent that books appointments without tying up the front desk, invoicing, accounting exports and subscriptions. The interface ships in French and Arabic.

The platform covers 32 domain entities, 49 migrations and 31 API endpoints, with a bilingual French-Arabic interface. The tasks that used to steal time from care — writing up notes, copying prescriptions, deciphering insurance cards, booking by phone — are now assisted or delegated.
